Illegal Aliens

Zach M.

In the U.S. there's a problem. Throughout the U.S. illegall immigrants reside. many people know of the controversial problem of the Illegal immgration. Some people say that they should be allowed to come over because they are humans like we are and we desevere all equal rights. While other people say that they should be able to come over because they are taking jobs from hardworking americans without the proper paperwork.
Let me give you some background info: An immigrant is a person who goes from one country to another. An "illegal immigrant" or "illegal aliens" are people who go from one country to another without the proper paperwork.European countries are dealing with some illegal immigarnts from Africa , whil people in Australia and New Zealand are dealing with immigrants from India and parts of Aisa. But it is the U.S. with the biggest problems. The U.S. Census of 2000 reported that 7 million "illegals" were in the U.S. which doubled from 1990.
There are many ways by which people violate immigration laws when entering the United States. One is to just plainly sneak into the United States without any proper paperwork or permission. Most immigrants cross somewhere along U.S.’s 1,955-mile border with Mexico, some others stow away on ships or cross over America’s northern border with Canada. A person may enter the United States with fraud documents. Another form of illegal immigration is to enter with a proper but temporary permit (such as a student or tourist visa) and stay after the scheduled time on the visa expires. Another category of illegal immigrants are formerly legal immigrants who commit crimes or for other reasons are ordered to leave the United States, but  ignore the deportation orders.
My opinon on this controversial subject. Well some people say that they wnat to come over here to start a new life, but coming over here and already breaking a rule isnt really starting a new life on a good foot, but they are humans and they deserve the same rights. The way I would do it is to have them pass the Naturalization Test and have them work form an average wage that w would work for. And if they refuse we send or deport them back.

  2. Illegal immigratiion is a huge problem. Illegal immigrants can cripple our economy. Many southern employers higher immigrants to work. The employer can pay employees under the table and evade taxes. Teh occupation of aliens holding jobs prevetns U.S citizens from occupying these jobs. Immigration should be stricter

  5. I think we should built giant walls. And have more people watching the boarder with big guns even though they watch it 24/7. We need to do something because what we have now isn't working.

  7. Illegal aliens is a huge problem and needs to stop. The United States needs new laws and more border control. The whole United States should do what Arizona wants to do.

  8. every immigrants has they are equal rights, You are absolutely right! Everyone should be treated fairly here because we are under the protection of the Constitution. Not everyone can pass the Naturalization Test due to their new language deficiency.
